WOOD GALLERY
We offer a variety of woods from which to choose.
However, 90% of our custom
cellars are manufactured in All-Heart Redwood. This wood contains a
natural resistance to decay and mildew and does not possess odors that can taint
wines such as west red cedar.
All-Heart Redwood comes from the center of the tree and is characterized by a
deep, rich, reddish brown color and a dramatic grain. The heart has
natural beauty and texture without a finish and over time the appearance
improves as it takes on a deeper luster.
We also feature highly prized Bintangor Mahogany. It has received such
high esteem due to the marvelous consistency of the wood color, grain pattern,
and its high strength to weight ratio, that it is often chosen by discriminating
wine enthusiasts for their wine cellars. Classic Mahogany and dark stains
are available options.
